The BSO’s ‘Harry Potter Film Concert Series’ comes to MPP

AUGUST 14 - THE BALTIMORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA’S ‘MOVIE WITH ORCHESTRA’

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will make a stop at Merriweather Post Pavilion as part of their three-year ‘Music for Maryland Tour’ this summer. They announced the August 14th date at a recent press conference about their new season.

In attendance was Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski Jr., who said, “We couldn’t be more elated to see the return of music. After two difficult years, I think it’s safe to say we are all ready to come together and feel the magic in larger communities.”

“Music is always a part of making those magical moments and memories,” Howard County Executive Calvin Ball said. “We can’t wait to sit on the Merriweather lawn and see you on stage, nurturing our souls, and bringing your wonderful music to our community.”

The Movies with Orchestra series will include a celebration of The Godfather’s 50th anniversary, along with Get Out, Black Panther, and Home Alone. More details about the film choice for the Merriweather date coming soon!
